Structure Evaluation Engineers, Inc.
(SEE) was retained to provide structural design
services for an eight-story residential building
with fifty units. The first three floors were deigned as parking floors and the top five floors
housed the residential units.
The complex was located near the river in the flood
zone. Therefore, a deep foundation system was designed that allowed water movement under the
building. The building framing consisted of reinforced concrete floors and columns with
masonry exterior
walls.
SEE prepared foundation
plan, floor plans, roof framing, sections, details, and reviewed final
drawings.
